Hello my loves!

How are you?

Today we are going to talk about the SISgraphy of our dear birthday boy of the week, Chris Evans.

So, enjoy the cold weather (or hot, if you’re from the other hemisphere), prepare your popcorn and be very comfortable, because the session will begin.

Chris Evans’ first work was in “Biodiversity: Wild About Life!” (1997), a film that tells the story of three teenagers who submit videos about biodiversity to a contest whose prize is $ 1,000.00.

During this early stage of his career he starred in series, such as “The Fugitive” (2000), and teenage movies, such as “Not Another Teen Movie” (2001).

In 2004 he starred in the film “The Perfect Score” alongside Scarlett Johansson, with whom he would make his most important films (i don’t want to demeaning others…).

This movie is a comedy that talk about six teenagers who want to go to college and decide to break into the Princeton Test Center to steal the answers to their upcoming SAT tests and get the perfect score.

But, I think Chris only started to gain prominence when he was the protagonist of “Cellular” (2004), alongside Kim Basinger and Jason Statham.

This thriller tells the story of a young man receiving an emergency call from an unknown woman who claims to be hostage by a kidnapper who will kill her.

It’s a pretty cool action movie. But for me, it’s a very special movie, because I watched it the first time at the age of 14 at one of my best friends’ house…it was one of the best times of my life!

In 2005, Evans starred in “Fantastic Four” as Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, a film that showed all his potential in great productions and “dictated” his cinematographic future.

The film tells the Marvel ‘s story about a group of astronauts who go through an exposure to cosmic radiation and gain superpowers.

Later, he starred in the film “The Nanny Diaries” (2007), again with Scarlett Johansson. Such a cute movie.

Apparently, Chris liked so much of the fantastic productions and with superheroes, that he decided to act more in this gender of films.

In 2009, he starred in the thriller “Push,” a movie about two people with special abilities who must find a girl in Hong Kong before a shadowy organization does.

But his biggest success began in 2011 when Chris played Steve Rogers in “Captain America: The First Avenger“.

Since then, Evans has played a very important role in the Marvel universe, as our beloved Captain America has been part of 9 movies of the franchise so far.

What I love the most about his filmography is his films with Scarlett Johansson, because I love them both so much!

One more GIF, because I love them so much:

I’m not #TeamAmerica because I have an extreme love for Iron Man (yes, I’m #TeamIronMan), but I have a lot of affection for Captain America for everything this superhero represents to me: a real friendship and a bit of that feeling of “I’m weird and I do not fit very well here”.
