Hello my loves!

All right with you?

Our Happy Hour this week is very special to us Outlander fans as it will be dedicated to a person who made many dreams come true by bringing Jamie and Claire to life: Ronald D. Moore!

Ronald Dowl Moore was born on July 5th , 1964 and today he is 54 years old!

Happy birthday Ron! We send happy wishes to you and to our very dear, your Mrs., Terry! We are sending her our love.

He was born under the cancer sign, in the city of Chowchilla, in California, USA.

This wonderful creature, whom we love for not giving up on Outlander, is the son of a schoolteacher and superintendent who at night worked as a football coach.

He attended Cornell University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Literary Society, but he dropped out of college on his senior year to move to Los Angeles with a friend to become a writer.

Two weeks before joinning the United States Navy, Ron received a very important phone call: Michael Piller, co-executive producer on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” (1987) called to tell him that his first script (“The Bonding“) earned him a place on the  show’s team of writers in 1989. (Keep an eye on our SISgraphy, as we’ll talk more about this)

In 2004, Ron married another great name in Outlander’s fandom: Terry Dresbach, a wonderful costume designer who makes true works of art for our beloved characters.

Ron has two sons, Jonathan Michael Moore (1983) and Robin Copper Moore (1999), and one daughter, Roxy Josephine Moore (2001).

Are you excited to continue our talk about this great TV professional?

So don’t miss our special Happy Hour this week.
